What we do

Everything that keeps a yard sharp.

Most people start with weekly mowing and add the rest as the seasons come around. You can book any of it on its own.

Weekly or biweekly

Mowing, edging and trimming

Cut, weed eat around the beds and fence line, edge the drive and walk, then blow everything off the concrete before we leave.

February to September

Weed control

Pre emergent early in the year, spot treatment through the summer. The goal is fewer weeds in the turf and clean bed lines.

Two to three times a year

Shrub and hedge trimming

Hollies, boxwoods, loropetalum and whatever else is crowding the windows. We shape it, bag the clippings and haul them off.

October to January

Leaf cleanup and hauling

Beds, gutlines, fence corners and lawn. One time cleanup or a standing route through leaf season, whichever suits the property.

Spring project

Mulch, pine straw and stone edging

Fresh mulch or straw, crisp bed edges, and stacked stone edgers when you want the beds to hold their shape year round.

Lighting and hardscapes

Path and uplighting, small patios, walkways and retaining work. Send photos and we will tell you what it takes.

Signature

The Alabama lawn year.

Bermuda and zoysia here wake up in March and shut down around late October. Fescue runs the opposite way. Here is roughly how a yard in central Alabama goes, so nothing sneaks up on you.

Getting started

Three steps, then you stop thinking about it.

  1. STEP 1

    Send the address

We look at the lot, the slope and the gate access. For most yards we can price it without walking the property.

  2. STEP 2

    Pick your day

Weekly or every other week, on a set day of the week. No contract, cancel whenever you want.

  3. STEP 3

    We show up

Flat price you already agreed to. If storms push the route, you get a text with the new day instead of a no show.

Service area

Shelby County and south Jefferson.

We run routes out of Alabaster, which keeps us tight across the south side of the metro.

Questions

Straight answers.

How much does weekly lawn mowing cost in Birmingham?

It comes down to lot size, slope and gate access. Send us the address and we give you a flat weekly price before any work starts. No surprise line items on the invoice.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most of our customers are at work when we service the yard. We just need gate access and a heads up if pets are out.

Weekly or every other week?

Bermuda and zoysia take off from May through August, so weekly keeps the clippings down and the cut clean. Every other week usually holds up fine in spring and fall.

What happens when it rains on my day?

We shift the route and text you the new day. You are never left wondering whether we are coming.

Do you take one time jobs?

Yes. Overgrown lots, move out cleanups, leaf hauls and rental turnovers are all fair game. No contract needed.
